WHY THAT CALL IS FIRST
vs. 11 comparable accountsCategory whitespace · The Embarcadero Grill
Eleven comparable kitchens buy dairy from you. This one buys 4% of what they do — which is what puts it at the top of Sofia's list this morning.
It also knows whose brands they buy instead of yours.
These accounts stock Lamb Weston and Lurpak — and nothing of yours in pastry. Your rep gets the conversation, with the SKU list attached.
STOREFRONTS
Customers reorder on their own.
The ordering site
Your brand, your domain, their contract pricing and order guide. One-tap repeat on everything they buy weekly.
The shop
The same catalog, open to anyone. Sell direct with no second system to run.

Every module, every plan.
Four modules, one loop — nothing is sold separately.
What changes between plans is depth, not access.
ONE METRIC — ACTIVE ACCOUNTS
A fixed base, plus a rate per active account.
The base covers the platform — the ERP connection, the intelligence pipeline and both storefronts. The per-account rate covers the value delivered. Never a percentage of order value, never a per-order charge.
An active account is one that ordered in the last 90 days. Dormant accounts are scored, flagged and tracked for win-back — but never billed.
Orbit does not charge you for the churn it failed to prevent.
Automate the desk
For distributors putting the order desk on autopilot and getting their first look at account risk.

Own the channel
For distributors making Orbit the commercial system of record across trade and retail.
$2,750 / month base
+ $25 per active account / month
- Unlimited reps, full history, white-label storefronts
- SSO, priority SLA, quarterly business review

No transaction fees
No percentage of GMV, no per-order charges, no hidden fees.
Onboarding waived in pilot
One-time fee at full activation covers ERP connection, catalog import and training.
90-day exit window
Annual agreement, with an exit tied to the pilot KPIs you agree up front.
A band, not a meter
Retail volume is fair use — exceeding it starts a conversation, never a surprise invoice.

Questions, answered.
Which modules do we have to buy?
All of them, on every plan. They compound — every order booked and every storefront transaction is an input the intelligence learns from, so withholding one makes the platform worse at its job. What changes between plans is depth.
What counts as an active account?
A customer that has ordered in the trailing 90 days. Dormant accounts are still scored, flagged and tracked for win-back, but never billed.
Do we have to replace our ERP?
No. Orbit sits on top of what you run today with read access to order history. 70+ ERPs out of the box, plus in-house systems — a data export is enough to start.
Do our customers know they're using Orbit?
No. The ordering site and the shop both carry your name, catalog and pricing, and on Platform there is no Orbit reference anywhere. Orbit is not a marketplace — the customers, the data and the brand stay yours.
NEXT STEP
